I would give this book four stars, however, I feel that this should have been a dual pov from the start. i understand they are two separate stories but this book annoyed me slightly. Both of them just needed to talk to each other. If they just talked or went to therapy then there would be less drama. I feel that you should still read it because it is important to the whole storyline. I still love Hades and I am excited to see how it ends but still, I believe those were my grievances.

Okay, so, I can’t get over how almost every single page is just them smashing each other, Persephone getting mad at something, rinse and repeat. It’s really taking the plot away from the book and it’s disappointing since I find Hades’ POV to be a lot more interesting.
Which, when it does get into Hades’ story more it’s very interesting to see how all the gods interact behind the scene. This is where the majority of the Greek mythology happens and I thoroughly enjoy that part.
I’m not sure if I’m going to continue the series, as Persephone’s POV is next in the reading order. I might take a break and come back to it.

Hades + Hermes aren’t the star couple - obviously - but their friendship makes me laugh SO much through an otherwise serious book. You 100000% have to read the 2nd A Touch Of book before even considering opening this - it wouldn’t make any sense without it and is based on the assumption that readers know the events (and characters) of that book already. We get really interesting back story about some of the characters we already know and love which made me love them more. Continuing to see and understand the things happening with Hades behind the scenes just adds another level to the ATOD series.

From Hades’ perspective, I actually like the story. I knew I would, especially since Persephone’s POV was so annoying and left readers in the dark about Hades. His character was reduced majorly and it’s good to finish this one and know his character wasn’t ruined entirely.

I’m so disappointed. I love this book series, I just don’t think the Hades POV is for me. The content wasn’t bad but I just wasn’t super invested.

I am loving this so much! Seeing Hades POV and his thoughts on the story is my new addiction. The only thing missing from perfection is having these combined with TOD series
