FMC was unlikeable - an extreme "pick-me". MMCs were all total assholes.
Poorly written with mishandled trauma and random gore.

I gave this book series a 3. It was like a car wreck. I couldn't look away. The story and plot was so over the top with one  "battle / trauma" after another.

The story is written from multiple povs with mercy's being the main voice and the 4 guys taking turns narrating.  Quite frankly all their voices stated to blend together toward the end and without the chapter title telling who it was it wasn't obvious.
