I thought this was a cute little graphic novel of the Stranger Things gang playing D&D. It was short and sweet.

I'm a bigger D&D fan than a Stranger Things fan (I know that puts me in the minority), and this didn't do anything for me. It's a plot about the unifying, comforting power of a shared enthusiasm, but since I'm not invested in any of the characters it was fairly uninteresting.

The art is good, but not remarkable, and the dialogue is all well written.

wow this one is actually really sweet?? does a lot of character work we just ~don't~ see in the show and i like the way it ties in origin and fills in gaps between the seasons

As a fan of both Stranger Things and D&D, I really enjoyed this. It's Stranger Things stories about the bonds of friendship that can come by playing RPGs with your friends! What's not to love?
