When Daisy loses her mother the last thing she expects to find when handling her affairs is a savings account with a million dollars. The most surprising thing? The bank account is under Daisy’s name and the Memo has only one clue, Ronan Kade. A name she hasn’t ever heard her mother mention.

Ronan gave up on thinking he could find love. Everyone he has ever loved either left him or used him for his money. When Daisy begins working at the club, Ronan has no clue that she has been stalking him but he does notice how she is always tracking him with her eyes.

This book was HOT. The insight into Daddy Ronan’s mind was nothing like I expect. He was everything and more. From the beginning of this series he has always been mysterious and closed off. Highest Bidder provided all the details to figure him out and I was not disappointed.

Daisy was a spitfire from the beginning. Fun to love and get to know. How she was brought into Ronan’s world was beautiful orchestrated. Her character development was interesting. I did not expect things to play out like they did and I enjoyed that. Grief will make people do crazy things. Specially when it causes you to get a new Daddy. I devoured this book and left no crumbs.

This wasn't my favorite Salacious Players Club book, but Sara Cate has some true magic because there's not a book that I "disliked" in this series and I'm not usually one who can do alternating couples in series.

I liked Ronan Kade. I think his personality and history with his kink (pleasure Dom) make sense. Also, who doesn't like a man who wants to take care of his woman? Plus, he cooks and is a billionaire?! Come on...I also liked how we saw a male who led with his heart. It was a different type of personality to see in a dominant male.

I liked Daisy, but knew immediately her "secret history" was going to be the problem in the book and it was; though, I actually liked how Ronan handled it with her in the end. I thought it was interesting way to handle it while acknowledging both of their "issues."

The extreme gap was not my favorite. I'm okay with an age gap (Emerson and Charlotte probably my comfortable limit), but the age gap didn't necessarily bother me either. Sara Cate writes in a way that it doesn't matter the kink or scenario, it just works for the characters and you go along with it. The romance was a little "instantaneous" for me also, but, again, that is kind of how Ronan is so I'm not that surprised. Overall, I just am really happy for Ronan in the end!

Bring on Madame - yes! And hopefully a Geo book in the future...?
