This was a sweet story, and I loved Storm hardcore.
I only had 2 real problems with the book...
First of all, Evie 's constant whining bugged me. The whole "stop! I have a boyfriend....but don't stop paying attention to me! " thing drove me nuts. Also......waaaaay too much slut-shaming.

It started strong but then it plateaued and became a bit dull.

This was my first book by Carian Cole. I really enjoyed it. I thought the story was different and I absolutely loved Storm. I found myself swooning pretty often. I was not a huge fan of the heroine on the other hand. She frustrated me much of the time. That being said, I love a good rockstar romance and this has definitely been added to some of my favorites. The story held me captive and I couldn't put it down. I am definitely looking forward to reading more from this author.

4.5 rock star stars

Hot rockstar. Check.
Swoon worthy lines. Check.
Heroine with fantastic inner dialogue. Check
Hot chemistry. Triple check.

This isn't your run of the mill rock love story. It is a testament about the resilience of love and letting go of fear.

For a first time book this book is amazing. I have read other books by Carian and they are all amazing. They grab on to your heart and become a part of your soul.

She stays with her cheating boyfriend who isn’t the main love interest and cheats on him up to 83% of the book. Even if you’re okay with cheating in your romance books, the writing is mediocre and seriously she’s not even with the guy for most of the book. There’s also a lot of anti feminist writing that gave me the ick. (MMC calling girls bitch, FMC being shitty to other women)
Bad read. Waste of time.

Enjoyable. I liked that the MMC wasn’t full throttle alpha, there was some nuance in the character.
