VERY mixed feelings at first, and some bits were better than others. Last 150 pages OMG!!! And loved the power and maturity that women show within this book, as someone who is very interested in gender equality and research in it, this was vety interesting and a big highlight within the book.

Pleasantly surprised by this one!
Enjoyed the twist and I actually thought it worked quite well.
My only issue was that ideas/ characterisations for the characters were already very strong so by the time the twist had been revealed I found it hard to look at some of the characters differently.
I also found the women lost elements of themselves - like Miranda and what was the depth of Jane?
I still found it an easy, interesting read that wasn’t as predictable as I was expecting.
A super holiday read!

This book made me cry. I wasn't quite sure about the inherent infidelity of the premise that these three women get stood up by the same man, but I trusted Beth O'Leary, and I was right to. And of course with this author the tackles mental health in an upfront way as well. I don't know that I'll read it again, but I'm glad I picked it up. Everything did end up worth it in the end!
