Worse than the first book, and I still only gave that book 1 star. ATP idk why I didn't just dnf. Incredibly predictable, which I don't find enjoyable. But let's be real, we're all just here for the smut.

DNF. It’s as if this was written by a completely different author. The syntax is as different as the characters are from the first book. There’s more regression than development.
Way too much stream of consciousness without action or rationalization to read it all when it’s repetitive and unoriginal.
I was hoping Riley would actually be the heiress in a fun plot twist, but I can’t justify reading any more to find out.
