I adored this! Tate and Grant make the cutest couple and you really can't help but root for them.

What really sells their relationship isn't cute-y moments (although there are some) but their chemistry, which is off the charts. It's "will they, won't they", "I can't date you but god, you're so hot" all day round and while that might not be every reader's cup of tea, I drank that shit up.

I wouldn't exactly call this reverse grumpy x sunshine because Tate isn't really that grumpy and Grant isn't that much of a sunshine but I'd say that Tate definitely encompasses a lot of the traits we usually see in romance heros and not heroines and I think that's why some reviewers might not vibe with her (go check your prejudices babes). She's got her own set of rules for dating that's her for to break, she's obsessed with her routine, with making sure everything's going perfect while Nate is much more easy-going and able to profess his feelings for her more easily. I thought this was a dynamic that actually really makes this book standout among the dozens of sports romances we've been seeing and I really recommend giving it a chance!

While R.S. Grey mainly writes standalones, I feel like we've been seeing a bit more of her getting into (short) series lately and I've been loving this one, especially. "Three Strikes and You're Mine" is in my Top 3 Grey novels and Luke, Chloe and Harper were incorporated so seamlessly into this book and I loved how close Tate was to all of them, while still showing her separate relationships to all three. Harper is a delight and seeing her childish (in the literal sense) enthusiasm for Grant and Tate's relationship felt very realistic to me and it was so adorable.

What I didn't really like is the trope of Tate stringing along this other guy she was casually dating from work while she basically already knew that she was into Grant but then her work guy turned out to be a bit of a dick (imo) and I didn't really care about Tate stringing him along anymore 🤷🏻‍♀

Is R.S. Grey the author that will finally turn me into a proper sports romance girlie? Only time (and hopefully a sequel to this) will tell...

RS Grey has always been a fun read for me and this one was no different. Plus throw in a sports romance, and I was game (no pun intended).

Blushing in the Big Leagues follows Tate, an avid baseball fan and sister to a major league player, and Grant, a major league pitcher. When the two collide at a party, sparks fly. However, Tate doesn't date ball players, esp one on her brothers team. But yet, every time they meet, instant fireworks.

What I love about Grey's writing is how easy it feels. I know that I will be able to just sit down and enjoy a little romance while getting some laughs in. And that's how it was here. I loved the friendship dynamics that were throughout the story as well. I've realized that I love big friend group dynamics and the way Grey wrote them was effortless. I believed these were tight knit friends.

Where I kind of dipped out a little was the actual romance. Don't get me wrong, I loved the swoony parts and the end, but it took a lot to get there (or not a lot depending on how you looked at it). The MC's hardly spent any time together aside from their first makeout session and then casual run ins. But yet, they were madly in love? Add that to the fact that Tate acted like a child a majority of the time she was around Grant, that it just annoyed the hell out of me. There was a moment where I was hoping he would move on because she was being ridiculous. But I did enjoy the cutesy moments, even if they weren't enough to convince me they were in love. Then the last few chapters before the epilogue just skipped a ton of time. It was very jolting.

Overall, still an adorable fun read. I will keep reading anything Grey puts out because I just adore her.

This book is filled with snark, laughter, jealous MCs, and love, the MCs are so gone for each other that they don't even notice it, I'm so glad there wasn't angst, this book was pure fluff and a possessive MMC that makes you met. I don't think that either of the MCs was planning to fall in love with the other but they did and honestly I fell in love with Grant Navarro too, I liked how the book progressed, it was nice, and also the side characters are 'chef's kiss', you are going to fall in love with them, especially with Dustin and Dphne's bickering.

This is a brother’s teammate insta-love story. It follows Tate, a nurse, and Grant, an MLB player.

When they first meet, they don’t know each other. There is just instant attraction, but they don’t exchange names or any other contact information. It was just one night. Come to find out, Grant is Grant Navarro, a player who had just been traded to the Pinstripes – the same team Tate’s brother plays for.

The problem? Tate does not date baseball players. As for Grant, he knows she’s off-limits when he realizes she’s the sister of one of the best players on his team. But the attraction between them is hard to ignore.

Tate and Grant were so cute together. I loved how Grant was just so adamant about what he wanted and how he felt about Tate. Despite him not wanting to upset her brother, he knew how he felt and didn’t want to play games. He was just an honest and sweet guy.

Now, Tate was not my favorite. I mean, she was a hard worker and had to deal with a lot being a nurse. But, I didn’t like how she was treating Grant when he was nothing but open and honest with her. She did get better as the story went along though.

I loved seeing how close everyone in the story was. I mean, Tate’s friends were also friends with the Pinstripes players, so they all interacted and most of them got along with each other.
