It just didn't quite pique my interest enough throughout and keep up the pacing to get the 3 ⭐

I feel like I read this book before, but better. For example, Britt Marie was Here by Frederim Backman felt tonally similar, but a lot funnier with a broader cast of characters and more universal themes.

Eleanor Oliphant landed the plane, the traumatic backstory that’s teased out over time is satisfying and makes sense of the character, but I feel like it was filled with tropes and cliches that I saw coming. People who have gone similar parent-child trauma may find it triggering and comforting.

It was a breeze to get through and I finished in 3 days, partly because I am a fast reader and also I was ready to be done with it.
