No self-help book is going to suddenly cure any problems you may have, so that's important to remember when rating these. There were lots of helpful tips in this book, and plenty of moments where I though "omg that describes me so well!" There were a few points that frustrated me, especially the use of the she/her pronouns a lot in the relationship chapter. It gave the impression that it was an issue to be addressed by only one gender.

The first few and final chapters of the book were extremely informative and helpful to me, as it walks you through the process of understanding a large number of things that are important to you. It also increases knowledge of specific concepts, beliefs, and myths related to mental health. It's one that I can always get back from the various exercises.
