Siempre creí que en las historias de amor los dos personajes debían quedar juntos, pero gracias a esta novela entendí que también existen historias de amor unilateral.
Me encanta la prosa de Lemebel, y como la mezcla con el lenguaje coloquial de Chile, incluso antes de leer el libro, creí que ese aspecto no me iba a gustar, ya que existen muchos autores que abusan de este recurso a la hora de escribir sus libros, y el relato termina sonando poco realista. Pero Pedro hace el uso necesario, logrando que la historia se sienta cercana.

LITERALLY ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS EVER. everything was beautiful — the story, the characters, the imagery — i couldn’t put it down! the differences in perspective really made the book and showed the connections and symbolism between even the most opposite of characters.
