Finally getting the answers to some questions but then there are more questions. Not sure if I have the energy to continue on this couples journey....still not liking Sara :(

It was just ok. Not much happens, and it seems the author tries too hard to make it seem like there is all this drama, where there really isn't. And dare I say it, too much sex?

 Quickie Review:

Revealing Us is the third book in the "Inside Out" series and this is where we get to see our couple really reveal everything that they are to each other. Chris takes Sara to Paris where he has his home and as she tries to navigate this different way of life, she also runs into women of his past. The past and present are colliding with each other, and this is where they will have to be bare with each other. There are some struggles because Chris especially is tormented and Sara really struggles with the women of his past and there is some drama that unfolds between Sara and Chris.

What I really liked was seeing these two really work through their own issues and learn to let go of their ego's to really build their relationship into what it needs to be. I wasn't a fan of Amber and wanted to kick her out of the city at times haha But I did love seeing Sara really rise above her issues and do what is needed for Chris and what he truly needed. They have some miscommunication issues that crop up, but they also learn and grow on such a deep level in this book. Even though I felt it could get way too dramatic at times, I felt like as a couple this is the book where they grow together the most, at least so far!

Overall I am having a blast with this series and curious to see what happens when they get back to the states! Bring it on Lisa Renee Jones.

Spoilers ahead don't read if you haven't already read...

Ugh, I really started out this series with high hopes of it being so good but this author has now done something twice that I totally CANNOT STAND. In the book before this one Sara's deep dark rape secret that somehow was supposed to be something she should hide and be ashamed of was revealed after much lead up... And then this book Chris' deep dark heavily guarded secret comes out and it turns out he killed someone in self defense? Seriously?! THATS THE THING you've been alluding to for six hundred pages of reading?! Ugh!

Well, I'm glad we have all of Chris out in the open and that he and Sara sort of have their lives on track. Now we have some more illusive millionaires, sadists, psychos and murderers to contend with. Bring them on in the .5's, the .75's and the mini novellas about the half novella that leads up to the story of Ella which will spur more journals perhaps!?!? LOL! I kid, but this "conclusion" has been a long time coming in its various forms. Worth it though and I will read whatever else comes out, just have to have my fun!

3.5 stars!

Is it bad that I loved to see what Chris did in the last book is still affecting Sara? I'm just happy that she isn't forgetting everything even though she really wants to trust him. It's clear it really affected her after everything her father and Michael did to her in her past.

I like how Sara makes Chris vulnerable and they just want each other to trust them.

All in all I'm happy we finally got to see Chris' "dark secret" but we had to wait for the whole book for it to happen in the end I was kind of disappointed even though I've read these books before.

Let me start by saying I loved the relationship between Chris and Sara and how there has been so much growth between them throughout this series. Not to mention their chemistry is electric! That said, I was a little let down by the ending on this one. For a series that has been full of cliffhangers, I thought for certain things would be wrapped up and the reader would be provided closure. Unfortunately, that's not the case.

***Apparently this isn't the last book in the "trilogy"***

WTH? I kept repeating throughout this book. This is the end this will all be tied up in a neat little package and everything will be clear to me now. Uh...not so much.
While it does bring Sara and Chris to a happy place, a nice enough place for me to be satisfied with their story, it leaves other things wide open!
Did I say satisfied? I mean I don't think I'll ever be satisfied enough to be ready to let go of Chris. Hot, blonde, artistic, controlling, protective, rich, AND he is always in jeans and graphic tee's. Dreamy! I'm not usually a fan of the word baby as a term on endearment but when it's coming from him it's the hottest word EVER!

This book controlled me, much like I wish Chris would, from the first word to the very last. I couldn't wait to turn the pages to see what would happen next! There was a perfect amount of BDSM without going over the edge and making me lose interest. Sara's strength and determination was a welcome trait that had me pulling for her to break through to Chris's dark side and heal him. The introduction of Tristan & Ember gave the story just enough drama and had me questioning how they fit into Chris's past. I wasn't disappointed.

I'm eager as ever to read book the next books to see how the rest of the story works out. I'm intrigued by Mark and can't wait to find out what's next for him? What about Ella, where is she and will she be ok?

I had really high hopes for this series/trilogy because the premise is so good.. but the whole thing fell really flat... the author could have done amazing things with this series.. it could have been suspenseful and mysterious but it wasn't... and I couldn't even finish the last book...
