Highly recommend everyone should read this book when they are 15-16 years old, and again at 21-26 years old. Perspectives change but perception one's point of view will be enlightened.

Begrudgingly, this was actually a very good book. I was a bit surprised that a book originally written in 1936 would feel so much like a modern self help book. Either Carnegie has been proved right by almost 90 years of social science or he's the self help genre's original sin. Either way this book covers just about all the bases of any modern attitude/personality improvement book.
One caveat is that is that his advice and stories are a little less actionable then some of the more modern books. He gives you examples of how others use his tips, but doesn't prescribe concrete steps for you. Because he's not super prescriptive, you could probably get just as much out of reading an outline of the book that lists his key points as actually reading the book, but I'll refrain from speculating.
