Got some lowkey "workplace comedy" vibes from this one, despite it mostly being disorientating and at times creepy and confusing. Didn't get further explanations for everything I would have liked, especially regarding the "entity" in cold-pac, but overall this was fun. Also I enjoy me an ambiguous ending.

Strange and fantastical ideas bounded with an overall theme of what is reality. It has more elements of fantasy than science, but all the fantasy elements are ordered, allowing for problem solving and detective work. There are lots of ideas explored with their interaction of them a key focus. We don't get bogged down with the details, which I might have preferred, but it is engaging with many twists. A bit of a slow start, but a good mind-twisting novel.

This isn't my normal cup of tea but I read this for the current read for the Science Fiction/Fantasy book club at the library. I was intrigued by the premise but this is definitely one weird story....The ending will definitely leave the reader reflecting and wondering....
