The plot heavily mimicks and mentions Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None. It is a huge part of the story line. We could perhaps even call this is modern version. The red herrings are plentiful, and you will be guessing who-dun-it until the very end. I loved it and I think Agatha would approvingly say "Bravo!"

A typical Lorth Anne White novel which means someone dies and it could be ANYONE. Captivated me quickly and keep me on the edge of my seat till the very end.

Slow Build Up, But Enjoyable Read
At times, the suspense wained because it was a bit too drawn out; however, this was a thrilling read overall. I'm a huge fan of Agatha Christie's novels, so I appreciated the reference to her works. Did the reveal of the killer shock me as much as the reveal in one of Christie's novels? Not quite, as the build up itself revealed the killer, but the unreliable setting and tension between the characters drove the plot and made this an enjoyable read.

Excellent audiobook - love the narration. Great whodunnit story, love the aspects of Agatha Christie built into the mystery. Highly recommend for a great spin on a Clue-type story. Love the description of each of the characters and the different POVs as well as time skips.
