Fast paced thriller that takes you neatly step by step through the story.  If you forget what's happening, the MC let's you know every other paragraph "they took my little girl!"

Completely implausible, but a page turner, nonetheless.

Okay, it's really a 3.5. I'm a Greg Iles fan, and I hate giving a 3 to any of his work. But I just couldn't go to 4 on this one.

It's good, but in a Bruce-Willis-movie type of way. You know, the "aww come on, there's no way that would ever happen!" kind of thing. When I say that during a movie my husband always says, "let it go, it's a movie!" So, partway through the book I decided to let it go, forget reality, and just enjoy the action, like I did with those Willis movies. After that it was a pretty fun ride!
