This is the only novel I read that makes me wish that it won’t end. It revolves mainly of an adventure of two brothers trying to have great time and memories with each other after a long and stressful life they both share, but this is special because if you are an avid reader of the author, Nicholas Sparks itself, you will recognize that this one is his real life story with a mix of current life events he is undergoing.

I’ll make this short, this one is going to be an adventure for both the reader and the author, and you’ll enjoy and look forward to every new chapter to find new places to discover like what the story has been told. But be ready also to each new chapter because each one will give you deep connection to the book. Always brace yourself because you probably be shifting from enjoying the adventures to crying hard.

Nicholas Sparks fan will never forget this novel. This one, I think, will be the gateway of his fans to his own personal life and adventures. So if you love and want to be a part of Mr. Sparks’ life after his other novels, you surely need to read this one in order to be part of him.

This book did not just give me an idea of how the other countries look like. Nevertheless, it gave me an idea of how my favorite author’s life was like. Through this book, I’ve learned that [b:A Walk to Remember|3473|A Walk to Remember|Nicholas Sparks|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1255647580s/3473.jpg|3143497]was inspired by her sister, Dana, who had brain tumor; [b:A Bend in the Road|3463|A Bend in the Road|Nicholas Sparks|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1163789083s/3463.jpg|1498124]was inspired by his brother-in-law, Bob (Dana’s husband); and [b:The Rescue|3462|The Rescue|Nicholas Sparks|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1163789082s/3462.jpg|1268663]was inspired by his own son, Ryan.

I enjoyed reading the book and felt as if I was with the brothers traveling the world. It kept me going until the last page because I found their life story very inspiring. I love how close they are as siblings. And maybe, one day, once I already have kids, I’ll do the same just like what their Mom did to them when they were kids before going to sleep. I’ll ask my kids to give 3 good things that their siblings did to them that day. I’ll keep my family close so when everything else fails, they’ll still have each other.

I’ve learned that no matter how hard life is, you have to believe that everything will be okay and there is a reason for everything. Set your goals and dreams. Just be optimistic.

Wonderful, touching story of the bond that siblings have through everything. Makes me wish every family was as close as this one. Nicholas Sparks is a phenomenal author and is just as good at telling the story of his own life as he is at telling the stories of the people closest to him. Definitely worth the read!

Not a Nicholas Sparks fan, but this was recommended to me for the travel aspect. Not a chance. His commentary about the wonders of the world delivers no sense of wonder at all.
