Deviant King by Rina Kent is a dark high school bully romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Shane East and Keira Stevens. This is the first book in the Royal Elite series and does end on a cliffhanger.

The book does come with a warning “This is a dark high school bully romance, mature new adult, and contains dubious situations that some listeners might find offensive. Aiden isn’t the normal romance hero. In fact, he’s not a hero at all. So please don’t listen to this if any of that bothers you.”

This is the first book of Rina’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. Rina pulled me in from the very first chapter. Through the whole book I wanted to get into Aiden head! I absolutely loved the pull between Elsa and Aiden. I can’t wait to dive into the next book in the series Steel Princess to get more of their story.

Shane and Keira did an amazing job on the narration! I absolutely love duet narration it just brings the story to life.

I would highly recommend this book if you love dark romance or bully romance.

I read this book 2nd because I'm following the suggested reading order from Rina Kent.

It is the first book in Aiden and Elsa's story. It's a true bully romance so buckle up babes! Because it does take 3 books to get to their HEA.

- hate to love
- enemies
- high school romance
- British high society

Also, I should note that Shane East and Keira Stevens do such a great job at narrating this series.

The way this royal elite series had me right from the start is crazy! This one was so good, for a high school bully romance you would never know they where only in high school. They are The children of very important people in the Uk and they have had to act like it for a ever. This series follows Levi king, than the four horsemen as they are called Aiden King, Zander Knight, Ronan Astor, and Cole Nash. This one is about Aiden and Elsa! Elsa is new at the Royal elite series and the minuet she and Aiden lay eyes on each other he declares he is going to destroy her and for the next few years of high school he does just that, and even has the whole school Nickname her frozen. Elsa has had a lot of trauma in her life losing both of her parents in a fire when she was younger and blocking out the whole thing completely, she has a heart condition and lives with her aunt and uncle now and is just trying to get through high school so she can go to Cambridge. But Aiden has different plans when senior year hits he cant stay away from her and does everything he can to get her, and Elsa fights him every step of the way, and just as she starts to give in she learns some info that turns everything upside down. This one and the next two are part of a trilogy, the first book is only in Elsa POV.
