This was a great premise and spooky atmosphere. I liked the switching POV and timeline between the divers exploring the wreck and the people on the ship before it sank. My only complaint is it wrapped up too neatly at the end with not enough explanation.

I really liked this. Right up my (scary) alley, especially since I am absolutely terrified of the ocean. I think my brain was just forcing me to forget they were under water half the time so I could actually read it, haha. Anyways this is basically a found-footage-esque book about a crew of people filming for a documentary about them swimming 300+ feet under the ocean to a wrecked cruise-liner that went missing in the 1920s. Most of the book is just build and tension until about 2/3rd of the way through when it gets SUPER creepy. Idk if I want to spoil what the horror aspect is but
Highly recommend if you like terrifying books.

An absolutely nail-biting read. It took me a little while to get into this one, but once I found my groove, whoo boy! Intense, claustrophobic, suffocating. The very real-world danger of a risky deep-sea dive with the slowly building tension of whether or not there is some kind of truly supernatural threat lurking in the dark waters make for a very tense read. Some characters absolutely make a couple of decisions that had me rolling my eyes or groaning in frustration, but ultimately nothing that truly detracted from the story. Probably Coates' scariest book I've read so far.
