Bianca's life crumbles when her mother suddenly dies and she's left to care for her little brother. Bianca didn't expect much from her mother's current boyfriend after her death, least of all that he would petition to become their legal guardian. Tiernan is dark, broody, scarred, tattooed, and cruel. Bianca is wary of the fact he is taking them in and giving them a chance at a new life. What's the catch? But of course, Tiernan has dark and secretive motives. His family, the Morellis, have had a life long feud with the Constantines, and he has just acquired the two secret children of their dead patriarch. Tiernan has no plan to actually care for Bianca and her litter brother but then his walls start to come down and lets them in under his skin. At the same time Bianca is finding herself attracted to this man, as well as his monster. Now Tiernan is fighting internally about whether or not he can go forward with his plan, destroying Bianca. Then we are left with questions and one hell of a cliffhanger.
I loved Tiernan. Controlling and broody, but then he makes these incredibly sweet gestures that make you swoon. I can't wait to see how Bianca comes into her own and who she decides to trust. But at the end of the day she already belongs to Tiernan.

Shoutout to Valentine PR for providing me of an arc of the newest edition to the Midnight Dynasty world by one of my favourite authors, Giana Darling. This follows the dark & mysterious Tiernan Morelli, brother of Leo & Lucian Morelli featured in other book trilogies by Amelia Wilde & Jade West.
Please note this is book 1 of a duet so there is a cliffhanger. You don't have to have read any of the other midnight dynasty books but it is recommended to get a real feel of the rich & dark world of Bishops Landing. However you must read the novella Bad Dream before starting Dangerous Temptation.
Tiernan Morelli grew up as the outsider in this family. His brothers disrespected him, his sisters were scared of him. His dad treated him like he was dirt on his shoe & his mother was too drunk to pay attention to him or anyone. Following on from the rumour that Tiernan isn't actually a Morelli, his dad has made him do the dirty work as well as take out the dirty work on him. And when Tiernan hears world of a secret family from Lane Constantine's mistress, he can't help but need to get involved to help take down the Constantine empire - The family rivals to the Morellis.
Bianca Belcante a 17 year old with a mum who prefers men in her bed then being a mum & has helped raise her 7 year old brother with epilepsy. Following on from the events in Bad Dream, Bianca & her brother are suddenly left as orphans. Until her mum's mysterious & handsome boyfriend at the time decides to take them in. What Bianca didn't expect was moving into a mansion, finding a new family & suddenly feeling attracted to her dead mum's ex-boyfriend.
This is a guardian age gap romance, with the chemistry off the charts. I enjoyed reading about Bianca finding herself as she heads towards being an adult & letting her make her own decisions for just her. I also enjoyed reading about Tiernan & his struggle with suddenly having a heart when it comes to the two children of his ex-girlfriend.
The cliffhanger was perfect in my opinion & left us open with hope that Bianca doesn't get lost in the Constantine world under Caroline's thumb.
All in all, was an easy 5/5 star read with 3/5 steam.

Definitely wasn’t excepting this book to turn out like it did. I’m really on the fence on whether I’m creeped out or intrigued.
When I started reading the books within the Midnight Dynasty world, I always wanted to know more about Tiernan Morelli. He was the black sheep of the family, the outcast – which is the type of characters that I’m drawn to. I’m glad that we got his backstory in Dangerous Temptation, but I don’t think that I’m so into his character now.
Tiernan starts dating Bianca’s mother and then she passes… so, he moves onto Bianca. To me that was just a very weird twist. And no, I’m not spoiling anything – you can pretty much find that info in the description of the book.
Bianca did capture my attention and I did truly enjoy her character. She was strong and more of a mother than her own mother was. I liked seeing her relationship with her little brother, Brandon. However, since she pretty much was the main caretaker of the child, she should’ve known more information about the illness he deals with. Tiernan’s relationship with Brandon was adorable, too… he wanted to dislike the kid, but you could tell that he really didn’t and he enjoyed being around him.
Dangerous Temptation was a quick read (for me) and I liked some of the things that happened in the book and other’s, I could’ve done without. I’m interested to see what happens next for this Tiernan, Bianca and Brandon.

Dangerous Temptation is an engrossing age-gap romance full of passion intrigue and corruption. The storytelling is well paced and I was invested in the relationship between Bianca and Tiernan and interested in the secondary characters as well.
