This makes so much more sense than Confessions. However, it is a tale and not an autobiography. And our hero was completely isolated from the flaws of society.

Too heavy on portraying god as the savior once Hayy figured out that religion exists outside his own mind. The physical vs the potential was pretty interesting and I liked how Hayy managed to explain his thoughts in a way that described life as inanimate and only important beyond the physical universal. Absal ruined it all though.
