Laura Palmer has to be one of the most compelling fictional characters of all time. Despite being defined by her death, she's treated with such empathy and care that she still lives on so many years later. While I think much of that legacy is because of Sheryl Lee's incredible performance in Fire Walk With Me, this book only adds to Laura's story and makes me care even more deeply for her. I don't know if there's an image laced with as much emotion as Laura's homecoming photo in all of television history and just looking at this cover is enough to make me tear up. David Lynch loved Laura Palmer and I do too, and I'm glad this book exists to add to the fascinating yet tragic tale of Twin Peaks.
