I kinda guessed she would bring the different races together and what it meant to initiate the Voice with Corrigan but this book felt more put together.
I hope the next one continues straight on, I want to see the bookshop opening

We finally have our big bad guy and a general idea of what the overall plot of this story is. I think this installment did an excellent job of showing how Mack is able to move fluidly throughout the different factions of the supernatural world and become this more neutral party. That being said, the ending frustrated the hell out of me. Plus, this whole situation with Aubree was honestly annoying as hell. There was such a flip in the personality that I really question how that will play a role in any of this. I will say though that the scene where Corrigan is talking about Mack with his pack mate was definitely swoon worthy and again why the ending frustrated the hell out of me. Overall, I'm still a big fan of the characters in this series and the fun twist on an urban paranormal story but I'm heavily questioning what will happen next.

So good human Aubrey was hilarious.
I freaking hate what the summer queen and arch mage did to Mack.
Broke my heart... probably Mack's and Corrigan's too...

Graphic: Torture, Murder, Body horror, War, Death, Blood, and Gore
Moderate: Body shaming, Xenophobia, and Fatphobia
Random fatphobia/bodyshaming came outta left field in this book and tarnished a hitherto fun, easy to read urban fantasy romp established by the previous 3 books.craftingrama's review against another edition

"Bloodmoon" ist der 4. Band der "Blood Destiny" Reihe von Autorin Helen Harper. Ich hatte viel Spaß beim Hören und wurde richtig gut unterhalten! Die Welten der Autorin sind mir persönlich nur nie stimmig und komplex genug. Ansonsten kann ich euch die Reihe aber wirklich empfehlen. Ich vergebe 4 Sterne.
