This book was so funny! I wish my library had the first two books in this series.

This book was both poignant and funny. I understood why fear led her to make bad choices, even though they were bad choices indeed. Both Tate and Charlie were excellently written, and it was enjoyable to see how she enjoyed herself by making her choices in the end.

I laughed a LOT in In Between and On the Loose, but Katie's story in The Big Picture brought other tears to my eyes. Don't get me wrong, the fun and jokes were still very much a part of this portion of Katie's story, but no matter how much you make fun of your crazy foster grandmother, life is going to catch up to you and reality will need to be addressed at some point. Katie's story is beautiful, and a little sad, but it's definitely a story of hope and trust in an almighty God who will always put you in the right place at the right time.

This book is high school in a nutshell. The writing is amazing, i am so jealous of katie's sass :) she is just a great charater. I love this series and maxine, loved the guy she ended up with in the end

I love this end to the Katie Parker series. I love all of the trouble that Mad Maxine causes. Plus, I glad that Charlie and Katie finally figured out their relationship!

July 2020 - a re-read. This book is a little deeper than the first two with some possible triggers. Katie goes to live with her mom and it is not a good scenario. But there is always redemption and hope.
