Three and a half stars -- would've been four if it wasn't for how necessarily long the book was. Tamsin was always my favorite of the three characters so I'd been looking forward to this one for awhile, and I'd say I was definitely not disappointed.

I know that Tamsyn is a favorite but I was never really sure how much I liked her. I thought she was rash and blew things out of proportion, but I never expected to like her as much as I did. As with the other two books I listened to the audio. There was a point though where I had the physical book and I wanted to know the resolutions to the town situation and I actually read like half the book.

Tamsyn's story picks up right before the competition for ranking at the glittering court. She and Adelaide have their disagreement and Tamsyn ends up on the other boat. This is where is got interesting. Tamsyn is with a cast of unfamiliar characters and they are a breath of fresh air. As they get shipped wrecked and meet the Icori ( who are like Irish or Scottish, totally didn't pick that up in the other two books). Tamsyn actually emerges as a leader and a good one. I really adored her by the end. I think Jago is a good fit and I liked her possible ambassador for working things out.

I think that this might be my favorite of the three books. Although I would really like an epilouge for a couple years down the road.

I also would still kill for a map.

I really enjoyed how the author tied the major events that happened in all three books together with each girl's story. I wish there was an extra chapter in Tasmin's book to give us a view of the lives of the girls a few months later.

After reading the Glittering court, I was curious about Tamsins story. The secrets of her journey. I would be interested I reading more of the Glittering court ladies journeys.

This was Tamsins story. I don't know why this one did not seem as involved as the other 2. It was a good ending for all three as each book/story followed the next girl. Maybe it is because it was the end or maybe it us something else that seems like this was a little bit of a let down. Either way I will keep reading my Richelle Mead books :)

Loved this book loved Thai series so so much! I 100% recommend. This book along with the other 2 had such strong FMC’s and each has a MMC that stood with them supporting them in being the strong women they are. Tamsins story was nothing like I expected it to be and I love it. The first 2 books made her out to be this stuck up, uptight, gold digger and she is the furthest thing from that! I loved getting to see all the different sides of her and how she is such a strong leader and really sticks to her morals. I was definitely not expecting her reason for needing the richest husband she could find and knowing her reason and the times back then I can understand why she acted and did the things she was doing. I’m so so happy she got her guy I absolutely love them together! The ending of this book was just so cute and lighthearted it seemed to be the perfect way to finish off this series. But I so wish we could have more!
