ok I feel like I need to change this review bc I did devour this book in 24 hours but not because it was phenomenal — it was morally shocking …. but I enjoyed *parts* of it
also I knew going into this that it wasn’t going to be a literary masterpiece … I read this to get out of a slump!!
So I’m giving it a solid 2 — enjoyment was there, smut was there, but the violence was a too much

Summary:
In a world of universities and secret societies, Glyndon catches the eye of Killian, a dangerous rival, while trying to research the reason behind her ex-boyfriends suicide. When his interest in her turns into an all out obsession, Glyn must decide if she likes the obsession or is willing to try to run away from the monster that Killian is.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 4/5

Tropes:
Mine
Touch Her & Die
Dark Romance

My Thoughts:
This book took me by surprise, as the first scene acts out sexual assault with the MC.  I gave the book 4 stars because the author really knows how to write a fast paced book and characters with a wide range of depth, but I personally struggle with SA even if it becomes consensual over time.  This book may not be for every reader, but I would recommend it to those who would not be triggered by this type of trauma. I am interested to see where the series leads the reader to next.

Triggers:
Sexual Assault
Non-consensual sex
Murder
Suicide
