More like 3.5 stars but good enough to round up. I really enjoyed this slow burn and conclusion-you-thought-you-had-figured-out-but-really-hadn't-at-least-not-completely.

I just don't think this book was for me. I would've never read it if I didn't get it for Christmas tbh. It was pretty interesting near the end, but most of the time I felt kinda bored and also I didn't think any of the characters were that interesting. I was mostly interested in the plot twist, which happens in the last 30 or so pages.

I finished this book a few weeks ago and am struggling to remember it at all. There is Alex a teenager working in a cafe, Quinn a terrible roommate, and Esther a roommate who has gone missing. That is about all that I can recall. I know, this is a terrible review and I hope to come back to edit it if I have a better recollection.

I wasn't sure if the title related to whatever plot showed up or if it was advice for readers trying to slog through the book.
I struggled so much with this one that I eventually gave up. There didn't seem to be a plot, or at least one that grabbed my attention in the early part that I read.
The narrative voices were both idiots and bordered on creepy. The dialogue and thoughts of both Quinn and Alex felt so immature and wooden. I was cringing at times as I read.
Definitely not for me this one.
