Oh my god this book was a SOLID 5 untill last 70pages. One line ruined the book and it only went downhill from that, she had abusive ex who isolated her feom everybody and she only had his family and friends and she FIXED that by moving in with Leo and meeting his family in first 24hours of them meeting and having only his family to ask for help????? And how they gaslighted her to stay?????? I'm sorry bur hpw can you move on from that and everybody is in everybodys buisness and everybody knows everybodys buisness.... And if you wonder if he said sorry well kind of and after everythig he put her through the FIRST thing she says is "Oh my god, you’re so sexy. Get over here and fuck me."

**please check trigger warnings**
This doesn’t read like a romance novel. While I think it technically meets the requirements of a romance novel it reads like a family drama. All the danger and trauma in the story feels far more central to the story than any of the romantic elements. Not a great read for romance, pretty decent as a heal from trauma type situation.
My biggest complaint about the book is that the blurb only talks about Leo and doesn’t at all address the trauma of Hannah leaving a domestic abuse situation. Probably on me for not checking trigger warnings, but the abuse Hannah faces is graphically described and pretty brutal. It was hard to face that the author didn’t even want to address all of that.
I thought the concept was cute, but ultimately not for me.
