I listened to the audiobook and I didn’t mind the narrators but I just felt like I was missing something the whole time. I didn’t really get the point and not sure if it’s cuz I was listening to it, but it was just confusing the whole time. Not awful but I just didn’t care to keep listening.

Started this for book bingo but ended up finding a more engaging title for the prompt. This seems like an interesting fantasy but it just didn't grab me in the bit I read.

I've never listened to or read a book by this team before, and am completely hooked. I borrowed the next book halfway through.  

Interesting characters and imagery throughout the story.  Several spicy scenes, but they didn't overtake the plot. They enhanced the relationship between Ash and the two women. 

Now, on to book two...

This was a delight to read! There are elements of this book that I wish were fleshed out more ie. the world building, the romance, and the villains, but I got swept up in the universe regardless. This book is uplifting and hopeful, which is a lovely break from the dark and tense romantasy I typically read.  I also loved that this story’s overall enemy is overdevelopment of earth’s resources. Most of the fantasy I’ve been reading lately has had religious themes, so I found environmentalism to be so refreshing. Lastly, I enjoyed how sex-positive this book was and how it depicted love. I’m particularly excited for book 2 because I think the universe and story will be fleshed out more, and I love the concepts of this book. I would recommend this book to people that want a hopeful and sexy romantasy!
