I love this series. I love the style, the use of the varying aspects of the genre, the character development and the evolution of the story. The middle of Eldest and Brisingr both felt a bit long and tedious, but I can appreciate how that fits into the series. I've read this series a few times now and will read it again. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an easy read that drags you into another world :)

I absolutely loathe this franchise. It's a mish-mash of stolen ideas primarily from the Lord of the Rings, but without the lore and the work behind it.
Interestingly, as the story unfolds, it gets way worse despite the author getting older.
