I cheated and listened to the graphic audio version, which in hindsight probably took longer than just reading the graphic novel but I didn’t find the art very visually appealing so knew it would be a slog. I thought this was alright, though the characters were a bit flat, and the plot overly convoluted in typical Sanderson style. I also didn’t find the world or magic as interesting or compelling as previous Cosmere works, but it kept my attention well enough to read the next volume.

Simplemente estuvo bien, sí fui con muchas expectativas porque es algo de Brandon pero me resultó muy normal y hasta un poco aburrido.

No me interesan ninguno de los personajes, solo quiero saber más sobre el mundo y algunas de las cosas que estaban pasando.

This was a fun new setting! I like the concept of this world a lot, but this first volume had a lot going on. I'm not too attached to the characters yet, but I hope with later volumes they'll grow on me. Not my favorite of Sanderson's, but certainly not bad.
