Great Intrigue; Awesome Action
I picked up this book via a recommendation from Ashely (@afrolicthroughfiction) and I am glad I did. I sped through this book so quickly! It kept me entrusted page by page. I am so interested in Persy’s back story and I love the angst between her and Hades. Such good chemistry! Also, the trials are magnificent!

It's a refreshing take on a Hades and Persephone retelling. I really like that Persephone isn't a damsel.
We jump right into action from the first page itself. I flew through this one and really enjoyed reading it.

Es hat mir sehr viel Spaß gemacht dieses Buch zu lesen. Ich finde, das ist die Hauptsache und deshalb kriegt es 5 Sterne, obwohl im Nachhinein wahrscheinlich nicht ganz si wäre.
Der Schreibstil ist sehr flüssig und schnell zu lesen. Ich liebe griechische Mythologie und das war hier echt cool. Klar, es ist kein Percy Jackson, soll es ja auch nicht sein. Hades als Charakter finde ich total spannend und die Geschichte von Persephone und ihm so einzuspinnen und neu zu interpretieren toll. Ich bin sehr gespannt wie weitergeht.

I mean it was entertaining, but no Persephone-Hades retelling comes close to the perfection of Lore Olympus, so there's that.
It does share some similarities with the webtoon, of course, but it still managed to stand out and I wanted to know what would happen so I stuck around till the end.
That's basically it. It was a fast and entertaining read.
Rating for the whole series overall:2.5 stars.

I started this forever ago, forgot I started it, picked it back up on KU without realising I had already read it, so when it started me 70% through the book I figured I would just go with it. I did finish it but rating it low cus it wasn’t all the memorable and I was just going thru the motions 😅🙈
