Atmospheric and very cold. Loved how dark and disturbing it is but still written with care and respect.

The town of Black Harbor is a rough town filled with crime and victims. In the second book set in the town a famous cold case comes back to life. A good read with great characters.

Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for this arc. This story was well written but there were certain elements in the book that if it had been listed in the blurb I would not have read it.

I really really enjoyed this one. I will warn that the story does have some dark parts (not exactly what I was expecting but definitely dark) but overall it’s a really great October read. I listened to this one on audio and thought that was an awesome format for this story!

A freezing, enthralling story of family secrets. Black Harbor is a strong character, and I hope I can visit many more times.
