It's Marian Keyes, so it's pretty much what you'd expect, and is underpinned with the theme of Authority Figures Dismissing the Concerns of Women, which is depressingly relateable. Lost stars for cartoon villainy, especially when contrasted with the well-drawn and resonant depiction of Kate's terrible mother.

I really enjoyed this book. A lot better than This Charming Man which I wasn't that impressed with. An interesting story with many characters and an intriguing Narrator. Worth a read.
