A modern classic for obvious reasons, but I'm always a little irked by kids books that gender all the animals male.

I have to give this book 5 stars or else my two year old will never forgive me. This is the house favorite of my daughters books.

I never thought I would include children’s books to my Goodreads’ list but here I am. My son loves this book and the message is good: the tiny mouse outsmarted his predators (fox, owl, snake, and the Gruffalo).
