That was awesome!!! I want the next one now. I am so glad I pre ordered it last night. Wow so much happened in this one. I loved the emotion that was created. Such a great story. It is hard to not give spoilers so I recommend you don't read on.... This isn't much of a review just my rambling thoughts.

Spoiler Alert....

SpoilerFirst things first... Yay Tod and Kaylee.... Yay finally!!!! I was so happy they got together. I was never really a fan of Nash, I found the last book hard to enjoy because she took Nash back. But then she finally saw how great Tod is. There were so many beautiful moments between Kaylee and Tod.

Some quotes I liked
"But you kept pulling me back. You’re the brightest thing I’ve ever seen, Kaylee. You’re this beautiful ball of fire spitting sparks out at the world, burning fiercely, holding back the dark by sheer will. And I always knew that if I reached out—if I tried to touch you—I’d get burned. Because you’re not mine. I’m not supposed to feel the fire. I’m not supposed to want it. But I do. I want you, Kaylee, like I’ve never wanted anything. Ever. I want the fire. I want the heat, and the light, and I want the burn.”

“He shrugged, looking right into my eyes. "Right now, this is all I feel." He held our intertwined hands up for me to see and I wanted to look away, but I couldn't break the hold his gaze had on me, like he could see more than anyone else saw. Things I couldn't see myself.”

As soon as Kaylee found out she was going to die in a week I thought this is the best story line ever. Kaylee has grown up a lot through out this book and it was great to see her rebel, she was doing and saying what she wanted. I am looking forward to where the story can go from here.

Another great read from Rachel Vincent. I wish she would write another Shifters book. Please!!!

As usual this book keeps me on the edge of my seat & wanting more. I can't believe that Kaylee & Tod got together, but I learned to LOVE them as a couple. All Nash & Kaylee did was fight, and I think Tod makes her happier. I cant wait for the next book! I dont think I can wait till June to figure out what happens next, but I guess I must wait. This is by far the best series I have read! So addicting.

OMG. I'm speechless. Rachel Vincent is so one of my all-time-favorite authors. Shifters (her other series) is one of my big favs but this book made the favorites list as well. My plan after this was another book but I had to continue and keep reading. If you only enjoyed this series until this one this is going to make you fall in love.
Big twists a lot and lot of unexpected things, so I can't really go into details. Rachel's writing style is everything, her characters are so vivid and alive and I absolutely admire her for her creativity and new ideas. I love this world, love this characters (especially the Hudson boys...)
I can't say anything else: go and read this book, it's fantastic!

This had to be the best one yet. I am in love! This book was absolutely amazing! I love Tod! I really, really do! Everything found a way to get so screwed up in this book and then fix itself in the end and it was awesome! It took five books to get good and it was so worth it to read this book! Kaylee is finally growing up and not letting people push her around and she's even pretty B.A. in this book! The story was great, with the incubi. I loved seeing different sides in some of the characters though some of them did let me down. Some characters really came through for Kaylee, in previous book and this one, and it was really such a great book I am just speechless. I honestly can't even explain how good this book was, and I'd probably spoil it if I tried! This was-correction-IS for sure the best one so far and I have no idea how Vincent is going to top this! :D

Ummmm may I just say WOW! This was by far the best book in the series. I started the book thinking, "hmm maybe nash and kaylee will be together forever!" But you could slowly see kaylee leaning towards Tod (which I was too) and that really brought me to tears. I look forward to seeing what Kaylee will be able to bring to the Afterlife with her new job of recovering souls.

Oh my god, I finally got what I wanted out of this one. Team Tod! Reading it gave me this stupid grin on my face. Talk about an intense turn of events at the end, I finished this in a day for godsakes (never happens). Ordering #6 asap!
I started this series out of non-vamp/non-were curiousity and its only gotten better and better. The variety of creatures is a great break from the basic ghouls and undead currently filling the bestseller lists. Never expected the series to get this good ahh!
Nash is a douchebag, Sabine needs a psychiatrist. Kaylee + Tod please!
