What a hoot! A great transition novel for kids who are ready to branch out from Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Looking forward to recommending this one to my reluctant readers.

Cute story and cute drawings--perfect for reluctant readers just getting out of Magic Tree House or Junie B Jones. Or for kids not quite ready for Wimpy kid or Big Nate.

Finding books that will:
1. make kids laugh
2. make kids keep reading
Is really important.
This series fits the bill!

Oh I love my job. I get to pick up books like this one and preview them for my library. It was a fun book that the younger set will love. I have a feeling it will rarely be on the shelf.

A great book for students that may not enjoy reading or are reluctant to read. It is short, fun, and super easy to get through.

Read it for my son's Book Bowl. I suffered through until the bitter, but very slightly rewarding, end. My son, 10, did like it, but he is a sucker for books about dogs, and was just grateful that this one didn't die.

I was dubious when my kid picked this one out, but it ended up being pretty great. This short story is hilarious but also has good gender role lessons, good teamwork, planning, leadership, morals, kindness and inclusivity, good rule breaking. Your kid will be howling with laughter without being taught awful lessons.

A group of stray dogs work together to find creative and sometimes ludicrous ways to get food at the park.

Mildly amusing tale of Stick Dog and his dim dog friends, trying to steal hamburgers from a family in the park. The other dogs are very dumb; only Stick Dog can keep them focused and somewhat realistic as they plot their attack. Silly fun, heavily and "badly" illustrated.

Good for DIARY… fans.
