Quick and festive

This was a fun and quick read. While some parts may have you scratching your head you’ll undoubtedly find yourself rooting for Mike & Kate.

I'm starting to feel that I say this with every book but I am pretty sure this is my favourite festive read this year! I found this book so entertaining and loved the love/hate relationship between Kate and Michael.

I will definitely be reading more from Maxine Morrey in the future!

This was really nice and cozy and totally perfect for the holiday season! I was not too keen on the miscommunication at the end but it was just a tiny bump in the road and my overall enjoyment of this novel was superb!

Weird comma usage, or lack thereof. And lots of over-explaining perfectly understandable nuances. Also, there was *so much extraneous dialogue*. By the time their romance FINALLY took off I was uninterested.

This was my second read of The Christmas Project, almost exactly three years later, and it was just as lovely this time around as the first! There's just something about the characterizations and the chemistry b/w Katie and Michael that really gets me going. And, of course, the familial, christmassy vibes! I feel like this may end up being a staple holiday read for me now...

Super cheesy but with any Christmas romcom book I expect that and honestly I really want the cheese factor. Overall super cute
