It's a dark bully, why choose romance
!‼️And before I say anything else, please read the trigger warnings, l've read reviews where people are like ew no that's grape, like IT IS WRITEN IN THE TWs?!!
If it's not your cup of tea then just don't read the book (you can find the TWs online) ‼️

And now to my actual point, I would've never guessed that it was a debut novel because it was just amazing and I just loved nearly everything.
My favourite is definitely Cal, he deserves the world and I just want to give him the biggest hug, I love how he was the only one thinking like, hey you know what we actually deserve this after everything we did to Athelia (bullying her for years and everything)!!
I love how the mental health aspect is portrayed in the book, it’s so important!

And I love how Athelia started standing up for herself and she was just growing and being the best version of herself.
Like sure, there are some things that could be edited but it was still an amazing 5⭐️ read.

And I might sound crazy saying this but I always like to go into a book blindly and without reading any reviews or sometimes not even reading the blurb.
I'm happy that I did that!!!

ARC REVIEW

If you need a sentence to entice you to read this book the dedication should be enough:
To all the ones who just want to be dic**d down by three masked men..

the bullying definitely was bullying.

Halloween night. Like for real. That was incredible.
The internal monologues had me cracking up. The guys were great, Wes drove me insane but I get the personality. The chemistry in the beginning for them was undeniable so the guys not even giving her an explanation really drove me nuts and the reasoning being soo stupid. But I get it for the plot. The spice was perfection, raw, degrading, dirty, and the orgasm denial! My favorite parts!

But like Haven, girl is keeping some secrets and I need to know them.

Pain is so addicting, and this book showed it in the best way possible. When I read the blurb and the tropes of this book, I instantly knew that I needed to read it like it was the last thing I would ever read. Words can’t express how much I loved this book. Every trope mentioned had been given justice, and all the characters were written so perfectly.

Every character in this reverse harem had something or the other that made them unique and layered, and I think that’s very important to see in books. Every struggle that the characters went through was written so beautifully and so aptly that I could feel their emotions in my chest. They were addicting, and I wanted the book to never end. The book is over 500 pages, and I finished it in two days. That shows how much I loved it.

The plot of the book moved at a steady pace, not too fast, not too slow. The reactions were written accurately, and the writing style was really engaging. The author left no loopholes, and I cannot wait to read the sequel.

It was a decent read, but it was more tame than I was expecting. I thought it would be a heavy bully romance, but we didn’t even see much bullying at all, there was just some mention of it happening. The beginning was very quick & each chapter was a year time jump from the last, and the bullying happened mainly in those years we didn’t see. Idk, I was just expecting more from it. However, I did like the character development the guys had, and for that (and the fact I just love Cal) I rated it 3 stars.

SYNOPSIS: POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW
.
.
.
Athelia is entering her freshman year at college and she quickly meets 3 boys who offer to help her move in. The 4 of them develop a close friendship & even start to romantically get involved. However, she’s manipulated by a professor on campus. The professor happens to be Wes’s stepfather, who tells him that Athelia chose to sleep with him and is playing Wes and his friends. This makes Wes turn his back on Athelia, and Cal and Kellan follow suit. They decide they’re going to bully her because of the choice she’s made to be with Kammes instead of them. What they don’t know though, is that Kammes was forcing her, she never chose him. In their senior year, the boys find out about the truth, and decide to change their ways and try to make things up to her. She starts to enact her own revenge plan on the boys, making them fall for her more, and when they each exchange their ‘I love you’s,’ she leaves them and ghosts them. After Cal falls into a depressive episode, Kellan goes to get her back and she realizes the mistake she made. She knows they deserved it, but she didn’t want them to ever be suicidal like she once was. They make up for good and all get their happily ever after.
