This book is absolutely brilliant. Whilst Malice gives you a great overview and introduction to the world Gwynne is trying to present, Valour takes every single aspect of The Banished Lands and it’s characters and elevates everything to a whole new level. Every single storyline is interesting and littered with nuance, which allows the suspense and momentum to gather and climax with an ‘edge of your seat’ ending.

The characters are complex, the plot has purposeful twists and we all end up wanting to be Jehari.

Cannot wait to read more of this series and couldn’t recommend it more. I just wish I could read Valour for the first time again!
