I like how her warmth comes through. Especially nice on audio as she reads it and her voice is such a comfort

I've always been a fan of Betty White since watching The Golden Girls as a kid (although it went over my head) and I watch the reruns regularly every week. It was nice to read this short book to know a bit more about Betty White and her musings on life and lessons she's learned in her long life.

Who doesn't love Betty White? Only crazy people don't love Betty White. This book popped up in recommendations for me, probably given that I've read a lot of comedic actress memoirs lately. I don't regret reading the book, but the second I opened it I realized it would take no time at all. The margins are huge, the font is large, there are about 75 pages of pictures, and lots of blank pages between text and pictures, with chapters consisting of usually just two or three pages. I finished it in one day, which is something because I'm not a normal reader that can delve into books for hours at a time since I have two toddler and limited time. Ms. White hits a ton of subjects in this book, ranging from Hollywood to animal welfare to stage fright, and she gave an honest and sweet account of things near and dear to her heart. Given that she is usually such a funny actress, plus the title of the book (which I thought was funny), I expected the book to be funny, but it wasn't. I didn't really laugh once; at the same time, it is not a somber book though. Just a lot of food for thought and background information about Ms. White, the industry, people she has worked with, and her other experiences. I appreciate her humble and gracious attitude. Glad I read it!

It’s Betty White - that’s it, that’s the review. It’s a book by Betty White, read by Betty White, about Betty White. So it’s perfection.

Betty White is adorable. Liked sitting down to hear her stories. Didn't know she was so into animals.

I really like Betty White and didn’t know what to expect when going into this book. I did enjoy this book very much. I’m glad I read it but it’s not something I would reread.

What a wonderful lady! This book was mostly anecdotal about her career; I would love to read another one that relayed more of her personal life. I knew that Betty had a passion for animals, but Oh My! The shelters, non-profits, and organizations that she is affiliated with creates quite an extensive list. I am glad that she enjoys writing....perhaps when she hits 100 years of age she will write a grand book?
