The Babysitters Club was my favorite book series growing up. I just had to read the graphic novel to see how it turned out. I liked it very much, it was a fun quick read for me, and brought up some good memories from childhood.

I know its a book for young girls but i really enjoyed it. 2020 has been a very weird year and I needed something very simple and light hearted and this was it.
Its a very simple and easy story and it might not be for older readers, but it was just what i needed to cleanse my palate from all the horrible in the world.

I loved the Babysitters Club books as a kid, and this graphic novel adaptation was fantastic - fresh and up-to-date, but still true to the original.

A very good graphic novel for middle schoolers.

It was very nostalgic to re-read this series and especially in a graphic novel form.

I loved this just as much as I remembered liking it the first time when I was younger. I am so glad I get to share this series with my girls.

I wish the originals were still available, but I enjoyed this story as a graphic novel far more than I expected to. I needed a comfort read selection and this fit the bill.

I grew up with the BSC books, but y'all it doesn't matter if you did or not because this graphic novel is SO CUTE. I loved it! The cartoony art style with bendy arms was instantly charming as all heck, and it really blends together with the original BSC vibe so well. I love that the girls look and feel like kids, and the artist captured the unique charm of each character. There are highs and lows, new friendships are born and grow, and come in, the BSC has arrived! This is fantastic for long time fans and new fans alike. Will 100% read the entire series!

No rating because I am not the target audience and it is impossible for me to imagine how this might read to a child unfamiliar with the original series. Very simple language and to-the-point narration which meant that there was no intrigue, tension, surprise or depth of emotion, even though some quite weighty issues were raised (like anorexia). It has been long enough since I read the original series that I can't remember if this is what that was like too, and I loved the original series so maybe children enjoy the simplicity. It was a cute nostalgia hit for me though!
