I usually have a hard time getting into middle-grade novels, but this one didn’t feel like a middle-grade novel. It’s so well written and such a good story that I read the whole thing in a day.

This book felt very easy to follow along with and intriguing so I wanted to keep reading. It helped that I have been to Edinburgh before so knew what the streets and castle were like. The MC felt very real.
