The concept was so interesting and intriguing. But idk if the story/plot was my favorite.

This book was very interesting. The concept of "book eaters" intrigued me and it did not disappoint. I mean a whole society who ate books instead of reading, fascinating!!! There are six families each one different that are the book eaters. I found it interesting that in this small of a group their was a somewhat of a caste system. It brought up all the other "culty" things like the oppression of women/set gender roles. All around this was good, however there where some things that didn't make it a higher star read. While the concept was unique, as the plot went on it felt like a lot happened, at the same time nothing happened. IDK i just got bored in some parts. I liked the characters but sometimes they got a little annoying and repetitive. Great concept, mediocre execution
