Quirky little book. Told from an interesting character’s interesting point of view.

Excellent! Autistic teen sets out to discover who killed the neighbor's dog. He ends up finding much more about his own life. Excellent writing. I couldn't understand the math but I liked the inclusion of it.

"And I know I can do this because I went to London on my own, and because I solved the mystery of Who Killed Wellington? and I found my mother and I was brave and I wrote a book and that means I can do anything."

I am going back and forth between whether I liked this book or didn't.

Christopher was a very well-written character. The way that he spoke/wrote the 'novel' was very well understood and it really gave an in-depth view into how Christopher thinks. It was super interesting to see his thought process, drawings of what he saw, actions to how people react to him, etc. I am curious if the author knows anyone who is Autistic due to how well Christopher was written.

The way he spoke confused me at times and was sometimes hard to follow, but I enjoyed the small storylines that continued throughout the novel. I liked to see how Christopher interpreted certain occurrences in his life and how he mentally processed them.

I wasn't in love with this book, but I didn't dislike it either. I may need to read it again in the future to better understand.

Super good. I’m thinking about whether or not literature depicting savant kids is overall a good thing for people with autism?
