"This is your fault. You were way too nice to that guy at the retirement event."
"You had to do something to give him the impression that you were easy."

Davey is so toxic. He blamed Tyler for being nice to people and them getting the wrong idea. It is not Tyler's fault, nor his responsibility to control other people's conclusions and feelings.

If Davey was uncomfortable in the reactions of others toward Tyler, he needed to tell Tyler that without blaming him. Something like, "I think other people are taking your niceties and reading into it more then you are intending. I love how nice and kind you are to everyone, but other people are taking it further. I never want you to be anyone but yourself, nor do I want to stifle how nice you are, but could we maybe figure out together how to prevent other people from thinking you are flirting with them?"

This infuriated me.

They also would get into arguments, and then just abruptly stopped the conversation. The characters were not trying to change the subject or get sidetracked or anything. It is like sentences were missing or deleted with how abrupt it was.

I loved the first book and I was looking forward to this one, but unlike the dedication between the two MC's in the first book where although they had problems, they worked them out together. This one seemed a little thrown together with Tate just getting out of a relationship, meeting Pilot and I was a little sketchy about his age but he seemed much older than Tate, but then you throw in Bryce, there isn't really a chance to explore their feelings for one another. I'm a fan of what others call instalove, but in this situation, it was pretty farfetched. Bryce kept going from mature to immature and although the characters were supposed to feel a great deal for one another, the story wasn't fleshed out enough for me to truly like it.

Although going back to characters who have had their happily ever after is a bit of a no-no for me. I like to leave it with the book ending, unless something significant happens. And while this was a great glimpse into their lives, there was a bit of angst I could've lived without. A good read nonetheless.

What a great story! Davey and Tyler are two wonderful, cheerful and loving men. Their first encounter could have been just a fling, childish and superficial. But clearly Davey was at a stage of his life and carrier that made him consider a different future, not only focusing on Supercross. Tyler was the opposite, being much younger and just starting his promising carrier as mechanics. But Tyler’s crush rapidly evolved into a deep emotional involvement and half of the book revolves around building the love relationship, the necessary trust to build a long lasting partnership in and out of Supercross world. The writing style was involving and I liked how the author included important side characters in the plot. You get a 360 degree description of the events and are immersed in their sport life, struggle, hopes and challenges. I don’t want to further spoil the story, but I have already 1-clicked the other teo books of the series.

This is an enjoyable romance that takes place in the Supercross world.
Davey one of the best racers on course to win the Championship and Tyler is a mechanic on a competitors team. All it takes is one night for the two to make a connection and risk it all for love.
Whilst I did enjoy the story overall and the characters that we got to meet, Supercross is not something I've ever seen or been interested in so I'm not sure it that impacted how much I connected with the story line. Things did seem to happen quickly for the MC's and I was wondering as to where the story was going to go as there was still a ways to go through the book but stick with it as there's a lot there for the characters to go through together. Along with Davey and Tyler there are some great secondary characters, especially Angel who we get the odd chapter from her perspective.
I'd recommend for all that love a good romance, and to give it a go even if you're a newb to this sport like me :-) It's not inundated with lingo but fully takes place in that world of touring, race days and rivalry.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review

I'm going to go in gentle and ask WTH did I just read? I am not sure if this book is Young Adult or New Adult or Adult. I know Tyler is 21 years old because the very beginning of the book he meets and has sex with Davey. Seriously the very beginning, I had to reopen my Kindle to make sure I did not accidentally skip ahead a few chapters. They had sex within minutes of meeting each other. Story potential? Well, honestly there were a few things I did like about the book. Davey actually came across as a young man who loved Tyler from the get go and was willing to do what he could to make their relationship work. Tyler, on the other hand, oh man he was a whiny, jealous, little boy in a man's body.
When a book has so many sex scenes that I skim over paragraph after paragraph of sex...then there is entirely too much sex. Every single time these two guys were around each other they were screwing. The one time that Davey did not wake Tyler up for sex before his morning workout, Tyler sneaks downstairs to see if he can catch him having sex with another house guest who just happens to be gay.
Honestly the book should have been a DNF for me but I kept reading it hoping it would get better, to me it never did.

Enjoyed this book. First one by this author and I will probably read more. However, I did think that for how masculine the characters were described they did a lot of feminine stuff that seemed odd and out of character for any man. Still enjoyed the book but all the giggling and calling him baby? Seemed off to me.
