Pretty interesting but just didn't care as much for the business/large organization chapters.

If I could give 6 stars, I wouldn't have thought twice. An amazing novel which takes real-life examples to explain the concepts. Loved it!

I actually expected this to be more of a self-help book than what it actually turned out to be. It was an interesting read (although the narrator seemed to treat this more like a work of fiction). I felt it was a little repetitive when it came to personal life versus the business world. Basically the same science being applied to different spheres- but I listened until the end.

How habits work, how to change them, and how companies use this knowledge to influence purchasing habits or improve employee productivity. Touches on good habits and bad habits like addiction. Habits are what some would call muscle memory where we do things automatically and forcing ourselves to recognize the three steps in the habit formation to change habits. Some habits are easy to changes others take real work.

Seriously? Why does this book have such good buzz? Maybe it works better as a read than as an audiobook. I found the drummed up drama tiresome and wanted more applications to individuals and less business/corporation stories.

4.5 stars - I really liked this look into how we can create habits and stick to them. Also the power habit can have over people’s brains is pretty amazing!
