DNF at 20%. Really didn’t sit right with me how the MMC treated the FMC and couldn’t read more to see him be a better person. I can understand not liking someone at first and then growing to like them after. But here, he didn’t even respect her as a person, even less as an employee. Hard no. Also, wtf was that obsession with him being so hulking huge??? I know he’s literally nicknamed the WALL of Winnipeg, but let’s not make fool of ourselves here please.

2018: This book....wow, just wow. I am so happy I read this. I have a new favorite book and a new favorite author. Worth a reread down the line. My perfect romance ❤️

Literally half of the book (that I read) was just the mc thinking about how large the dude was ~gag- and I didn’t even make it to any of the smut scenes

I love a good slow burn, but I've seen a turtle move faster than that. The story was fine but it would have been better without the endless inner monologue and cringey nicknames.

No one does slow burn quite like MZ 🔥❤️ Vanessa & Aiden have my heart 🥰 at first, I kind didn't like Aiden tbh, he was so indifferent to Vanessa, but boy oh boy was I wrong! The things he did for her! 😍 he was just so goddamn cute.
