Book 2 in a quartet about four childhood friends all grown up and running a wedding business together, this is the story of romantic Emma's quest for her one true love and how she finds it in an unexpected place. As the florist of the wedding business, Emma is used to surrounding herself with beautiful, scented fantasy in the forms of elegant gardens and arrangements and dreams of obtaining nothing less for herself. Having been brought up in a household where her parents felt no need to hide the sweet words and small kisses between them from their children, Emma longs to find such a union for herself but somehow she manages to find herself acting as more of a matchmaker in an effort to offload her rejected suitors. But then sparks fly with someone she had always liked but considered offlimits, and they become even hotter when she discovers that he feels the same way.

As usual, Nora Roberts can be counted on for a fun story and likeable characters, providing an enjoyable afternoon or evening read with little hard-thinking required. It's nice to give the brain a workout with more "literary" works, but it's also nice to relax sometimes and just be told a pleasant story. A few laughs, a few tears, a few moments of feeling like the characters have plucked their personalities straight out of the people in your own life...nothing wrong with a little Nora Roberts fun. I had a couple of minor annoyance moments with Emma's reactions to a couple of things, which knocked this back half a star from the four I had thought about giving it, but they were really minor and the book still enjoyable. Looking forward to the other two in the series whenever I get to them!

Am busy cramming for the up-coming wedding season.

I didn’t like this one quite as much as the first but the vibes remain the same and so I am still happy.

A worthy sequel to Vision in White, though the story veered a bit too schmaltzy for me. The beginning of the relationship was well written and strong but the goal of giving the lead a fairy tale romance felt a teensy bit childish. I also wish the male lead could have solved his relationship woes without leaning on the best friend, something that has now happened in both books. I’ll be annoyed if it occurs again in book 3. But still a sweet romance with just a hint of spice!

A two star for Nora Roberts is really a 3 for anybody else, but this book is just too boring. I'm not a fan of the main characters either--forgettable and bland.

Loved the continuation of the saga...although predictable (and able to forsee the next two books as well), it was a very warmhearted story.
