Claire Raye what on earth did you do with my emotions? Ruin Me ruined me and there is so much more to this story than just a romance.
I knew going into this story that Caleb’s story will completely shatter me and this did that and more. This story was NOTHING like I expected and I loved every single moment of it. My heart breaks for Caleb and everything he went through in Providence and the aftermath that now has on him. The quick friendship he formed with Ruby is everything. I love it. I love how supportive Ruby is, how she doesn’t push him, she doesn’t force him, she doesn’t judge him. She is that shoulder he needs, that calm to the storm in his head. Their bond is deep. Caleb and Ruby’s story isn’t sweet and simple. It’s full of angst, passion, suspense. It is beautiful and I love seeing these two people learn to be the shoulder the other can lean on.
There are parts of this story that hit my deep in my soul. Parts I completely connected with because I knew exactly how Ruby was feeling in those moments. Parts that will forever stick with me because of how emotional they made me.
One of the things I love most about Claire Raye is the fact they aren’t afraid to handle tough topics. They don’t sugar coat anything. They don’t romanticize it. They show the struggles, the emotions and the effects it can have on the individual, but also those around them. PTSD can affect many people and it isn’t something that you’ll know if someone is suffering from it, like Caleb.
Ruin Me does end on one doozy of a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see where Ruby and Caleb’s story goes. Ruin Me is a MUST READ best friends brother romance that will hit you deep.

I will start by saying I have been not so patiently awaiting Caleb and Ruby. I was instantly intrigued by these two when we met them in Sienna and Reid’s Hawthorn Hills Books.
Claire Raye did not hold back and did not disappoint. Although you could get away with reading Ruin me without reading Complicate Me and Complete Me- reading those will only enhance your understanding of the characters and the event that lead to Ruin me even more.
There is a possible trigger warning as the hero of their book suffers from PTSD. However, I not only found it vital to the story- but as a theme it was discussed without stigma and I found it informative and interesting; including the impact it has on someone’s life, those who care for them and appropriate ways to assist them.
There is an instant connection and chemistry between the main characters of this book. It draws you in immediately and has you wanting to know more with each turn of the page! I was not able to put the book down and was easily able to connect to the world the authors have created.
The supplementary characters are just as wonderful, you want to know more about them without taking away from Caleb and Ruby, but rather enhancing their personalities and story line.
There is a little something for everyone; best friends sibling, friends/roommates to lovers, mystery and a cliff hanger ending that leaves you with questions and craving more – in the best possible way.
You will want the HEA so much for this couple. I loved this book so much and can no wait to see what Rescue Me holds.
Claire Raye was written wonderful book and it is great addition to Hawthorn Hills adventure.

I LOVED reading Caleb and Ruby’s story. In the Complicate Series, Ruby is portrayed as this carefree party girl, so I loved reading her side of things and learning that there is much more to her than that. I couldn’t put this book down and I didn’t want to. Caleb’s story is truly heartbreaking and its far darker than Reid and Sienna’s side of things only because they didn’t have to live day in and day out like Caleb had to. Ruin me is makes you feel all the anguish, the anxiety and the troubles that Caleb faces on a daily basis and it does make you stop and think. Ruby and Caleb’s chemistry is off the charts and I ezspecailly loved the banter between them and the protectiveness that each one had for each other. I definitely recommend reading this series, but make sure you read Reid and Sienna’s story first so your not missing bits and pieces.

I have been dying to read Caleb, and Ruby’s story since we were first introduced to them in the first Duet series. Caleb is Sienna’s twin brother, and has decided to move across the country to college with her after their dad's death. Ruby is his sister’s best friend, and college roommate who is broken just like he is. This is a story that deals with PTSD, and two broken people who need help healing. We are dealing with yet another huge cliffhanger, but good news is that we don’t have to wait long for the conclusion of Caleb’s and Ruby’s story. Definitely another must read by Claire Raye.

Let’s just say Caleb and Ruby ruined me. After reading what happened to Caleb in Complete Me, I was so excited to get his book and it was very emotional at times. This book talks about the effects of ptsd and panic and anxiety attacks,it really opens up that conversation that I feel like a lot of people suffer from.
Caleb and his sister Sienna didn’t have a great upbringing and only had each other so it was beautiful to see a relationship blossom between Caleb and Ruby. With everything that happened to Caleb is was so nice to see him opening up to Ruby and letting her in a little bit! Ruby is probably my favorite,she takes to no crap and her love for her friends and family really shows.
Since this is a duet the ending does end on a cliff hanger and I can’t wait for the second book to see where Caleb and Ruby go.

After Complete Me, I know Caleb's story going to be an emotional one. Boy, was I right.
I have been waiting for Caleb's story ever since I finished Reid and Sienna's story. And let me tell you, the wait was worth it! You know it's going to be heartbreaking after what Caleb went through. But still, I was not prepared. My heart just broke for him. And Ruby.. She's AMAZING! She's just perfect for him. From the first page I was already in love with these two. I know their story was going to be amazing the moment they met after he moved into Sienna and Ruby's house. I loved seeing their relationship grow and develop.
I cannot wait for the continuation to their story!

What an awesome book! Caleb and Ruby just knocked me out with their chemistry! From the first page I was in love with these two, and loved seeing their relationship grow and develop throughout the book! I feel for everything that happened to Caleb, but man, I’m dying for the next book already! This book RUINed ME!! Cannot wait for the next!
